Furniture that can be wiped down and cleaned easily is a great choice too, to minimize the spread of germs.

Though of course you want your office to look clean, there is a difference between clean and stark. Impersonal waiting rooms can leave patients feeling uncomfortable. It’s much more personal and welcoming to put up signs and boards introducing the doctors and that encourage healthy activities. Making your patients feel welcomed is a surefire way to keep them coming back to you the next time they need a doctor’s advice.
- Make wait time enjoyable
Something as simple as setting up a station with coffee and tea and some healthy snacks can give patients the opportunity to waste a few minutes and keep them feeling comfortable.
